The Mission of Scioto County Children Services is to lead the community in the promotion of safety and permanency for all children.  

 

 

At Scioto County Children Services: 

● We believe family life is best for children.  

● We provide out-of-home care for abused, neglected, and dependent children whose parents are not able to provide proper care.

● We are here to work with families to help them solve their problems while remaining together.

● Children may live in Kinship (relatives) homes, Family Foster homes, Group Homes, or Residential Facilities in the community.
